Locally produced organic waffle and pancake mix hitting grocery stores in Renfrew County this week
A local product will soon be available at grocery stores in Renfrew County. Randy Briand of Châteaubriand Organic Farm says Gramps Organic Buckwheat Waffle + Pancake Mix and Nanny’s Organic Buckwheat Flour will be hitting the shelves this week. Briand says Buckwheat is gluten free, high in protein, fiber, nutrients and amino acids. Briand says the pancake and waffle mix, smells and tastes great and is good for you.
Briand says their product will be available at Hyska’s Your Independent Grocer in Petawawa on Friday, August 12th, and will soon be available at Freshmart in Eganville and Killaloe.
Briand says it’s an honour to produce and provide chemical free, organic certified food to the community.
